起動時に option キーを押すのが段々面倒になってきたので、
rEFIt をインストールしてみました。
が、、やはりデフォルトの起動画面にはなじめず・・・
カスタマイズしてみました。

しかし、意味不明にも
Windows のアイコンが二つ。。。
もう何週間か使ってますが未だになぜだか分かりません。。
どなたか原因が分かる方は教えてくださいm(_ _ )m

え〜、私がやろうと思う随分前にトライして
分かりやすい記事を書いておられる方がいらっしゃいましたので、
そちらの記事を参考にやってみました。

これは分かりやすい:)
しかも今見たら、 img2icns のリンク先が復活してるし。
私が試したときはリンク先が応答なしで、、
ディベロッパーツールの Icon Composer を使ってやったのに。。。

リンク先での作業に関してですが、私の環境が原因なのか、
OS X 10.5.5 のプレビューでは BMP として保存できませんでした。
そこで、他のアプリで BMP として保存してみたところ、
rEFIt に認識されず起動時に画像が使われず。。

ということで、リンク先で紹介されている ToyViewer をお使いください。
このアプリを使って “BMP で保存する” と認識されるはずです。

個人的にアイコンを別のものに・・・

私はシンプルな Mac っぽい方が良かったので、
上の起動時の画像にある通り、Apple のデフォルト起動アイコンを使いました。

使い方

上記リンク先の説明を読んでいれば分かると思いますが、
この Apple の画像は png ファイルですので
icns ファイルに変換する必要があります。
手順は以下。

• ダウンロードしたファイルを “os_mac.png” にリネーム
• Img2icns を使って icns ファイルを作成
• ルート > efi > rEFIt > icons フォルダに移動
• フォルダ内の “os_mac.icns” を別の名前にリネームしてバックアップ
• 作成したアイコンファイルを icons フォルダに投入
• ファイル名が “os_mac.icns” であることを確認

XP のアイコンは最初から入っているブート用のアイコン、
“boot_win.icns” を複製して “os_win.icns” にリネームしてあげました。
もちろん上書きせず、オリジナルは別の名前にしておきます。

手順は上記 Apple アイコンと同じで、
手順１で名前を “os_win.png” にしてあげるだけ。

vista のアイコンが XP と同じだと嫌だったので、
少しだけ XP のアイコンに手を加えました。
少し Vista っぽくなっていませんか？（笑

Vista のアイコン名は “os_winvista.icns” 。
そのファイルが無ければ “os_win.icns” が使われるようです。

こちらも同様、
手順１で名前を “os_winvista.png” にすれば、
あとは Apple アイコンのときと手順は同じです。
